Had a lovely meal, the waitress was very pleasant and couldn’t do enough for us.
Walked and starving on Saturday…the table we were at was covered in salt, when the waiter finally took our order of gammon/chips, cod/chips, onion rings and portion of coleslaw. Coke and glass of milk. Milk came in a tumbler of about 150 mls and the waiter spilt it over the table. No apology and I cleaned it myself. Coke came in a tin with a glass that was so dirty we moved it to the end of the table out of sight. The gammon and chips came first with no chips and champ instead. My cod came about 5 mins after when my partner had near finished his gammon. Coleslaw didn’t come and I had to ask for another. No salt on the table and the waiter made us feel stupid by saying that it is on the table in the little tin box. When we told her it was sugar she said “oh right are you sure?” Food wasn’t nice at all. Although the Coleslaw was nice. Finally when we went to pay there was no one who wanted to take our money….3 attempts to pay and I ended up paying up at the front to another part of the shop. Ridiculous service and unclean. Certainly won’t be back
You either love this place or hate it.
